Energy Manager DazeBox – Dynamic Load Balancing

The DazeBox Energy Manager regulates charging current according to what the home is consuming at that moment. It fits in the main switchboard and measures current with current transformers (CTs). It suits anyone charging a car on the same installation as the rest of their appliances.

Why this energy manager

• Keeps within your contracted limit — with 3 kW contracted and 2 kW taken by the oven and washing machine, charging drops to 1 kW; when those appliances stop, it climbs back to 3 kW
• Prevents the meter tripping — balancing is automatic, with no need to cap charging power up front
• Two versions — single-phase with 1 CT and three-phase with 3 CTs
• Network link to the wallbox — the CT Box has an RJ45 port for the cat 5e cable to the DazeBox
• Instructions at hand — the wiring diagram is in the manual and printed on the CT Box itself

Compatibility

Compatible with the DazeBox Home. You choose the single-phase or three-phase version according to your electrical installation. Fitting takes place in the main switchboard, on the phase conductors after the meter, and must be carried out by a qualified professional.
